Challenge-FCCB #53- Spring Thankyou cards

Hello everyone,
These cards i made for Steve to fill after his birthday. There really quick and simple as i didn't have much time. Steve's birthday was on the 1st of march so as you can tell I'm very behind on my crafting and very short of time its just been really crazy here. anyway here is what i made:

I used doodle charms for the simple cuts and quickness and divine swirls embossing folder.

Post 20- Baby Liam's First mini album

Hello everyone,
Here is a lovely mini album i made for my new nephew Liam. I think it turned out wonderful and liked it so much it was hard to give away lol. its OK though because i know its in good hands. Now i must warn you there are alot of pictures (one of every page and some)I was just in love with it and wanted to remember what i did in case of any more babies come along!

 

 

 

 

 

 

I pretty much used everything in my craft room to make this. I got to use up alot of scraps i already had so I'm not going to go in to detail as ill be there all day. Im short of time today but wanted to get this posted never the less. I'm really pleased with how it turned out and only wish my camera skills showed it off better.

Post 19- Porcupine birthday

Hello everyone,
This a very colourful porcupine birthday card i made for one of my uncle's. Isn't it just adorable. I really love the bright colours in this card.

I used Birthday Bash and cut him out at 3.5". i embossed the spiky section with Swiss dots to make it look prickly hehehe, i also embossed a orange strip and sanded the top to show the d'vine swirls off. I used a little bit of yellow ribbon and a very cute happy birthday stamp in brown, i also inked the edges.

Post18- Sweet baby boy card

Hello everyone,
I have a new arrival to the family in form of our little baby nephew. he is adorable. so i made my sister-in-law a lovely family card.

I used nursery rhythms cart and some simply gorges patterned paper. i embossed a strip of white using Swiss dots and inked all the edges with color box chalk french blue ink pad. i really wanted to keep this simple and found it hard not to do any more to it. i hope you like it

Post 17- Steve's b-day card 2011

Hello everyone,
It was my partner Steve's birthday not long ago and here is the card i made just for him.
He enjoyed playing guitar so i thought this was very appropriate.

I used Rock Princess cart. to make the guitar shiny i used glossy accents which i think make this look really on trend. I heat embossed happy birthday in gold and picked colours to match the very masculine patterned paper. It was a 6" square card that he really loved.

challenge-Cricut cardz challenge 64- wormy bookmark

Hello everyone,
Here is the bookmark i made for this challenge

I used create a critter and cut the very cute wormy worm out at 1.5". I got to use up lots of my scraps which I'm always trying to do and love projects that i can use up really small bits with! the pearlesent card dosent really show very well in these pictures.
I just love the way this bookmark almost hugs the top of the page waiting for me to read on.

Post 16- male 40th b-day card

Hello everyone,
My loving uncle Adrian has turned 40 so i wanted to make a celebration card for this mile stone that he has proudly hit. I know this is a really busy looking card but in my eyes that's why it works.

The picture does not give this card justice it looks so much better in person. I used birthday bash cart for this card. (yay i used another cartridge) The card size is A5, A4 paper folded in half, instead of the normal A6 (A2) i normally to use. There is so much going on it would take my for ever to explain what i did so I'm not going to. I think the more you look at this card the more you see. hope you like it Catch you later

Post 15-Donald's birthday card 2011

Hello everyone,
This is my first ever shaped card! i know I'm slow on that one but i don't have a gypsy or design studio so i really had to think about how it was going to work. This is such a cute card and as i gave my auntie a cat i thought it would be funny to give my uncle a dog. i know I'm strange right? any way here it is enough talking.

I used create a critter again sorry i just cant stop using it! i cut the dog house out first the butted one side up against the fold of a normal card and cut around it making the shaped card. i really like given these animals wet noses so i used my glossy accents to do that. once it was all finnish i though it looked a little plain so Stickles came to the rescue on the doggy's coller. Easy card but lovely

Post 14-Johns birthday card 2011

Hello everyone,
Sorry Ive been away for so long I'm still getting better from my illness and haven't really been in my craft room! Here is my partners grandad's card he choose for me to make. I used the same stamp as the previous card but it looks completely different.

I used Create a critter cart and lots of scraps. We think it turned out really well.
